Openings
We have an immediate opening for a postdoc position on optical spectroscopy of 2D materials. Please send me an email if you are interested.
Graduate students:
Our research is highly inter-disciplinary and we are looking for highly motivated graduate students majored in Engineering or Physics. If you would like to explore the exciting frontier of optoelectronics in quantum materials and nanoscale devices, please apply to the graduate program at RPI. You can also contact me for more details.
Undergraduate students:
We particularly welcome highly motivated undergraduate to join us. We value education a great deal, and our students will have the opportunity to work with the state-of-art nanotechnology and be involved with development of world-class optical spectroscopy and optoelectronic tools. If you are passionate about nanotechnology, or are enthusiastic about lasers and microscopy tools development, or are simply interested in helping us build a world-class optoelectroncs laboratory, please join us!
Postdoc:
We are looking for a highly motivated postdoc who have had rigorous training in optical spectroscopy study, and experience with femto-second laser is a plus. The postdoc will be actively involved in the exploration of light-matter interaction in two-dimensional (2D) materials and related heterostructures. We will also exploit 2D materials for applications in novel optoelectronic devices. The candidate should have (or expect) a Ph.D. degree in Physics or Engineering. The interested candidate can contact me via sufei dot shi at gmail.com.
Visitors:
We will be happy to host visitors who are interested in our research. We will strive to provide a productive environment for visitors.
